  River Rehabilitation

Following the training session, other activities such as clean ups, river walks, pollution mapping, and river bank beautification will be conducted along the Sungai Way stretch. These activities will be useful for the community in understanding where the source of pollution comes from and the effects of river pollution and how it affects them.

Monitoring activities will also be conducted to enhance the knowledge and information on the adopted river quality and water quantity using different types of methods. This particular activity will enhance the appreciation of rivers and water as valuable and limited natural resources to communities. Monitoring of river quality will be conducted using visual observation and chemical testing.

These activities will take place in September in conjunction with World Water Monitoring Day, which will allow GAB Foundation to promote their efforts at the global level.
