A River Care Education Centre has been established and currently in operational. This centre acting as a one-stop resource centre for the public to learn more about water and rivers. The centre was established by GAB Foundation and GEC, and the local community was given a previllage to utilise it facilities for their benefit. Recently, the River Care Education Centre have been launched by Yng Bhg Dato Hjh Rosnani, the Director General of Department of Environment at Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on 10th December 2009. The centre has three main sections to offer the public (mini office, mini library and mini laboratory). It will be opened to public on Saturday and Sunday from 9.00am to 1.00pm and Monday to Friday based on special request made by anyone/public. All facilities provided at the centre can be utilised by the visitors and local community with the supervision and approval by GEC and local community leader assigned to manage the centre.
