  Land Use

Sungai Way is situated in an industrial area along the Federal Highway in Petaling Jaya. The area consists of medium to low-cost housing homes and flats and commercial activities include coffee-shops, car wash outlets, and petrol stations. There are 4 IWK sewage collection tanks situated in the area and more than 10 major drains leading into the river. The area is highly developed and the river remains concrete-channelized for its entire stretch, making it a typical urban river.
