  Business Community Training Programme

The Business Community Training Programme is an initiative under the W.A.T.E.R Project, and is jointly organised by the GAB Foundation (GABF), Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ), Department of Irrigation and Drainage Malaysia (DID), Selangor Water Management Authority (LUAS), Global Environment Centre (GEC) and ENSEARCH. This programme themed ‘Sustainable water resource management to reduce the impact of El Nino’ with the objective to provide a platform for companies to understand and learn to treat pressing water risks as a strategic challenge for better positioning in the future.

Through this programme, we would like to engage the business communities within the Sungai Way and Sungai Penchala area on environmental conservation, particularly in the area of river rehabilitation as water is an important resource for all parties. Speakers include leaders from regulatory bodies, the private sector as well as non-governemental organisation. The training programme will also see our speakers sharing their views in a panel discussion, which we hope will shed new light on how the business community can play a stronger role in ensuring future water security.

Therefore, we would like to invite one (1) representative from your company to join our Business Community Training Programme scheduled on:
